What to expect in 2025?

We're working to bring you a celebration of all things making this spring and summer, with a new series of opportunities and venues for Makers. Expect Makers, demonstration pitches, collaborations, creative family-focused activities, workshops, and more food!

We're committed to supporting makers at all stages, from those just starting to those established on the UK’s makers market scene.

We’re looking for Makers and independent businesses who are all about:

  • Handmade Quality Goods: We prioritise handmade, high-quality products.

  • Sustainability: Makers must focus on sustainable practices and sourcing long-lasting materials.

  • Craft Preservation: Support for those keeping crafts alive.

  • Innovation: Encouragement for makers testing new ideas and trends.

  • Process Highlighting: Emphasis on showcasing the making process.

  • Independent Makers: Promote choosing independent makers over mass-produced overseas items.

We plan our market events for Makers and the public, so it’s crucial for us to tell the story about making and the process. We want to inspire, create conversation and highlight the journey it takes, the blood sweat and tears (quite literally!) Not forgetting the endless attempts to create something new, ready for retail. We feel this is one of the key ingredients to building relationships between Makers and their supporters (our visitors!)
